Roger van Damme
Roger van Damme is a renowned pastry chef. Born and raised in the Netherlands, but since the opening of his Antwerp lunch-lounge restaurant Het Gebaar, he is particularly highly praised in Belgium. "Although I am a fan of white tableware, I wanted to add a touch of sweetness to Désirée in the form of a warm pink hue," explains top pastry chef Roger Van Damme. "The golden edge has to accentuate that luxurious sense of patisserie, without becoming kitsch."
