The delightfully named Bubinga Kewazinga originates from Equatorial Africa. This particular wood is limited edition - sourced from old and rare stock which once exhausted will not be available again.
The heartwood of exotic Bubinga trees is reminiscent of rosewood and ranges from pink-red to a darker red-brown with highlights of violet and black. The sapwood is a pale yellow colour and creates a wonderful contrast producing a strikingly graphic look with a pleasingly subtle sheen.
Popular for fine furniture and small decorative objects, Bubinga is also frequently used for inlays and musical instruments.
Please note: since wood is a natural product, your Bark & Rock notebook truly is unique and is likely to differ in both pattern and shade from the photographs on our website. These are designed to be indicative of a given type of wood in general. By Bark & Rock.
