The Jaipur Vase is part of the Mitti Vases collection, presented at the Milan Design Week Fuorisalone 2021 edition and designed after a trip to India.
The collection explores different palettes and surfaces using unfinished stoneware that feels like sand to the touch.
The Mumbai Vase plays with shadows just like the wet sand enriches the visual depth of dunes, being it as a playground for the light, radiating in different directions and creating unique atmospheres.
Each piece is slowly crafted with machinery and hands, silently negotiating two contradictory elements, such as stoneware and 3D printing.
The Vase is transparently glazed on the inside for water-repellent qualities and left raw on the outside to preserve the textile touch.
