Rory Jon Dobner studied Fine Art Foundation at Chelsea school of Art & Design before obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honors) at Central St. Martins School of Art and Design. He was awarded the prestigious title of Burns Young Artist of the Year in 1998.

An established, international artist Rory has exhibited (both group and solo) in the UK, USA, Australia, Haiti, Hong Kong and New Zealand before returning to the UK in 2005 and setting up his studio in Hampstead, London.

His exhibitions include: Top Edge Gallery, Hong Kong; Enormous Tiny Art Show, LA; Soho House, London; Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Wild Rains Gallery, Sydney; The Notting Hill Arts Club, London; Babington House Hotel, Bath; Greenwich Maritime Museum, London. Rory has also been featured in various publications, such as ‘New London Style’ by Thames and Hudson.

Rory is represented globally by The Opera Gallery and his paintings are showcased in The Opera Gallery, Bond Street, Mayfair, London.

Using many different mediums to produce a wide range of original work, he has fulfilled a variety of impressive commissions including Agent Provocateur, MTV, Christian Dior, Candy & Candy BT, Arcadia Group, Shizaru Mayfair, Ibiza Rocks, Matrushka, Robert Downey Jr., The Hong Kong Cancer Trust, IBM, Soho House, Meg Mathews, Babington House Hotel, Robin Ellis Design & Build, Will.i.Am, Aninna Vogel Jewellery, Nike, Proud Gallery & Arkadius Couture for London Fashion Week.
