A testament to the quality of Martinelli Luce’s design: in 2022, the Tx1 Lamp designed by Marco Ghilarducci was crowned the winner of the Archiproducts Design Awards in their lighting category. This award celebrates worldwide design excellence by rewarding originality combined with functionality and the emotional power of an object.
Virtual and Augmented Reality
Martinelli Luce invest heavily in technology, exploring new ways of experiencing the home and interacting with light. As well as offering 3D models of their products that can be downloaded and added into interior design renders, Martinelli Luce have also collaborated with free app SayDuck, allowing you to see their lighting with augmented reality.
In 2022, Martinelli Luce marked the 100th anniversary of Elio Martinelli's birth by opening their first metaverse with an experience dedicated to their founder. This experience provided an opportunity for people to discover the figure of Elio in all his roles, from set designer to artist, designer and entrepreneur, through a path that aims to lead the virtual visitor to a new experience.
